LostSeouls:Diary
'Ello.
My name is James and I made this site during the three year period I spent working in Korea. Three. Flipping. Years. I can still hardly believe it was so long.
Over that period I spent 90% of my time in Seoul, going around the markets, shops, soju tents, tea shops, chicken hofs, BBQ restaurants, tourist traps and Buddhist temples (same same) and enjoying the occasional drinking binge. I can say with all honesty that I frigging loved it.
Every now and then I visited other parts of Korea- Pusan, Changwon, Gagneung, Jeju-do- heck I even went to China, Japan and King (Hong) Kong. So, if travelling around is what you're into then fill your boots.
There's no biting political commentary here, it is not a particularly fair and balanced view of living in Korea, and if you were hoping for one of those blogs where people talk about how cute their cat is then you've come to the wrong place.
However if you want to see someone get so drunk they literally wet themselves (or drink their own vomit, it's your choice), read about whether the Korean police mascot has a girlfriend (he does and she's pretty fine), or let's face it just waste time at work- then please, pick a month.
